Image Processing Experience

ConsulTech's hands-on experience in image processing consulting includes, but is not limited to, providing services to the following industries:
    • Medical – ConsulTech developed algorithms and software for a cardiac ultrasound workstation. The software acquires, stores, and manages sequences of ultrasonic images. It filters the images, adaptively detects features, and takes measurements of the features. The software then generates reports that include custom graphics used to visualize the measurement results.
    • Life Sciences – ConsulTech developed algorithms to detect cells in a microscopic field and to detect the point in time when the cells replicate and separate.
    • Military – ConsulTech developed test plans used for the verification and validation of signal processing subsystems of a submarine combat system.
    • Electronics – ConsulTech developed algorithms and software to enhance x-ray images of printed circuit boards and to take precise measurements of features found in the resulting images. The software generates browser-based reports that include custom graphics used to visualize the measurement results.
    • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) – ConsulTech developed algorithms and software to generate 3-dimensional views of geographic features using data acquired from multiple modalities.
    • Printing – ConsulTech developed algorithms to detect and analyze bar codes printed on paper and on plastic bottles during the manufacturing process.
    • General Manufacturing – ConsulTech developed and deployed a turnkey system that performs real-time inspections and measurements of features on a moving steel web for the cathode ray tube manufacturing industry.
